The Armenian Diocese of Canada and the Canadian Youth Interfaith Network joined forces to create a documentary to bridge cultural and religious differences among Canada’s many ethnic and faith communities.
The 30-minute documentary Diversity was created with support of the Government of Canada and produced by Lights and Shadows Productions.
“We traveled across Canada to discover its diversity,” states to the Canadian Youth Interfaith Network. They brought together representatives from different ethnic and religious communities in the four largest cities in Canada to find out what it would take “to challenge the existing stereotypes.”
Their aim was to develop and strengthen a culture of tolerance in Canada and to reduce prejudice based on religious affiliation by seeking and finding common ground.
The film can be viewed in full on YouTube.
